Time to get that race face back on! The gate drops on our first race this Saturday, February 25th, with a totally revamped and 100% awesome track. Big mahalo to the many volunteers who made this happen!

OK, final play day in the dirt on this Saturday the 11th. We should be able to finish the last straight jumps and the rhythm section this weekend. All the dirt’s in place and we’ll need rakes and shovels for track grooming. Please no bikes for testing until near sunset to check on the track flow. We’d especially like the VERY YOUNG AND SMALL groms to test things out before we open. We’ll also need to see the fastest racers to make sure they can attack the jumps at full speed and not overshoot the landings. If you don’t feel comfortable in the dirt, Kent Kurashige, our off track project manager, has plenty of “other” ongoing projects for the track and can use help as well. No volunteers turned away. See you Saturday!

OK, it’s time to get dirty again at SANDBOX BMX this coming weekend. All day Saturday and Sunday (4-5 Feb) to help raking and removing rocks on the newly designed track. Come when you can. The more the merrier. See you all there!
